Invitation to "Journey to Freedom: The Vietnamese Refugees Retrospective" -- May 1 to 4, 2009

Thanks to many kind and generous contributions, we are happy to present the program “Journey to Freedom: The Vietnamese Refugees Retrospective” taking place May 1st through May 4th, 2009, featuring the following events:

Congress, Jefferson Building, 1st Street S.E., between Independence Avenue and East Capitol Street. Room LJ 119. Metro station Capitol South.

The Symposium is free to all, but seats are limited (200) and pre-registration is required. Please RSVP with Reme Grefalda regr@loc.gov. Last day to register is April 15, 2009.

4. Monday May 4th, 2009: 06:00pm – 08:00pm Candlelight Vigil at the Capitol Reflection Pool, in memoriam of all who perished or sacrificed at sea or on land in the journey to freedom.
