Mr. David Vo, on behalf of Vietnamese Americans of the Second Generation Confirmed Their Voice of Vietnamese Americans by Main Streaming with the first step in supporting a Vietnamese American to the House of Delegates of Maryland.




VA Delegate Mark Keam ( D - 35 VA ) introduced Hoan Dang, a young Vietnamese American in Maryland to run for the House of Representatives of the state of Maryland.

Many Vietnamese Americans who have been loyal to the Republican Party have come out to openly support Mr. Hoan Dang.

Hoan said the reason his family fled Vietnam to America was because of Freedom and Democracy. He admired the founding fathers of the US and therefore Hoan has longed to contribute to this country by serving in the Maryland House of Delegates. Honored Guests and VIP of the event included high ranking officials of the Montgomery County, President of the Cambodian Community in Maryland, President of Asian Real Estate Association of America in Washington DC, President of the Filipino Chamber of Commerce, VP of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County, Chairman of the Vietnamese Community in Washington DC, MD, and VA, and many other leaders of Vietnamese American groups as well as Asian American and Vietnamese small business owners, especially the nail industry.

Public serving is a privilege.

Voice of Vietnamese Americans promotes civic engagement at all levels and strongly supports Vietnamese American Candidates from all parties to come forth in supporting voices of the people of the United States, regardless of race or party lines.
