Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect in Vanessa Pham Murder Case

Sun Gazette, Fairfax, Va. July 2, 2011

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is still asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect who murdered a 19-year-old woman on June 27, 2010.

Police initially were called to the area of Arlington Boulevard and Williams Drive at 3:34 p.m. for a reported vehicle crash.

Officers located a 2008 two-door Toyota in a ditch off the south side of Arlington Boulevard. Vanessa V. Pham of Falls Church was deceased inside the car with trauma to her upper body, which was not consistent with the crash, police said.

Through their investigation, detectives learned Pham visited a business in the Fairfax Plaza Shopping Center, located in the 2900 block of Gallows Road, around 3 p.m. that day. She did not appear in distress at that time, police said.

From VVA: We are delighted to have experts and investigators from Fairfax County Police Department assigned on this case come talk about the latest developments at VVA's Advocacy Day on Saturday, August 6, 2011 in Fairfax, Va.
