Dear Friends,

I am pleased to extend warm greetings to all who are gathered for the 2011 Asian American Community Advocacy and Resource Day.

This event is a testament to the pride you take in your community and in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It provides a wonderful opportunity to share in a true community environment while learning about public policy issues such as job, health care, public safety, capital accessibility to small businesses and funding for higher education. Information regarding the 2011 redistricting process will be available as well.

America's diversity is a tremendous virtue. We are fortunate to have a strong and vibrant Asian American community in the Commonwealth. The contributions of the Asian American community have been extraordinarily valuable to the spirit and drive that make our Commonwealth and this nation great. I commend your hard work and dedication to advocating on behalf of your community.

On this important occasion, I am very pleased to join with your family, friends, and community in wishing you the very best for a fulfilling and successful event.

s/Mark. R. Warner

United States Senator
