The Democratic Party has nominated Barack Obama for President, Joe Biden for Vice President.
The Republican Party has nominated Mitt Romney for President, Paul Ryan for Vice President.
Voice of Vietnamese Americans congratulates both Presidential Candidates from both Parties. It is essential that the leader for a country such as this able to rise above party lines, and not be led by his party extremists.
Now that both parties have had their conventions, we the people of America will have the chance to learn more about each candidate, his platform, his character, his passion and conviction to serve Americans. We the people will decide who would be the best to serve as the next President of the United States of America.

Presidential Candidates To Hold Three Debates
Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 9-10:30 p.m. EST at University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
The first debate will focus on domestic policy and will take place Wednesday, October 3, at the University of Denver in Denver, Colo. Jim Lehrer, Executive Editor of the PBS NewsHour, will moderate that debate.
The second presidential debate will take place in the format of a town hall meeting, where members of the audience ask questions, and will take place Tuesday, October 16, at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y. Candy Crowley, Chief Political Correspondent at CNN and Anchor of CNN's State of the Union will moderate that discussion.
The third debate will focus on foreign policy and will take place Monday, October 22, at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. Bob Schieffer, Chief Washington Correspondent for CBS News and Moderator of Face the Nation will moderate that debate.
The vice presidential debate will take place on October 11 at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. Martha Raddatz, Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent at ABC News will moderate the Vice Presidential debate.
According to the Commission, all debates will take place between 9-10:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
